Our sweet boy will be here any day (probably not, but still). I really put off his room until this last month because I had such a huge vision for it (and I am exhausted!) So here ya go, all things navy and gray!
Another Dallas Cowboys fan in the house.
Wall Color is Sherwin Williams Mindful Gray
We are re-using some furniture from Cameron’s nursery. Furniture is so expensive and it’s not things he will be using forever, so I didn’t feel the need to spend a fortune on new baby furniture.
This collage wall is my favorite. I wanted a good mix of wood and neutral colors. Thankfully, Hobby Lobby is on the ball and I found all of this there!
My newborn essentials are pretty similar to the things that I use from Cameron, but a little different. Still loving the Amazon Brand Wipes. If you haven’t tried, they are really inexpensive. They don’t have a crazy smell, and are strong! I’m not a fan of the slimy, soft wipes (ewww), but these are textured perfectly. We are going to use Pampers, probably forever. I have a few other brands I bought on sale at the grocery store, but can’t go wrong with Pampers. Cameron is still using them. Amazon’s subscribe and save seriously makes it worth it to buy the name brand. This may sound crazy, but I also have a few puppy pads in the caddy! I know they make specific pads for changing tables, etc. But save your money and buy the plain ole puppy pads. Babies (even my sweet tot, to this day) like the cold breeze when you take of their diaper and for some reason it makes it the perfect opportunity to potty on you. Saves you washing your pad cover every day, haha! We keep them in our bedroom for night diaper changes and in the living room, just in case. Also, I plan on having him keep the new baby smell for as long as possible so we are using this Aveeno Lotion on him as well as Cameron. Lastly, I am a huge advocate for Aquaphor Baby on irritated bums. We skipped out on tons of crazy expensive creams and what not. A huge tub was given to me before Cameron was born and it works every single time. We have used it on drool rashes, dry scalps, any blemish on her and it’s gone overnight!
I had this similar setup in Cameron’s nursery at our old house and it was super functional for us this. Small bins are burp rags/bibs and the larger bins are wipes, diapers, sheets/changing pad covers, and seasonal clothes/outfits.
White hutch “Hensvik Cabinet” is from Ikea (technically a changing table)
Bins are from Target
Globe is from TJ Maxx ($10!)
This wood photo holder is from Tj Maxx, only $10! Right now it’s collecting all of the ultrasound photos, but I’m sure it’ll house lots of fun airplane stuff over the years. It’s super functional and heavy duty, so I’m hoping it’ll last!
I have some awesome photos of Tyler’s actual work airplanes that we are planning on adding to this wall once I can choose which ones I love. 🙂
Map photo above crib is from TJ Maxx ($40!)
Crib is the Fisher Price Newbury Convertible Crib in Espresso ($200!)
Navy and White Crib sheets linked here, here, and here.
Aviation Pillow is from Amazon, linked here.
I have been collecting baby boy clothes pretty much since day one. It’s a huge adjustment from all the crazy girly stuff we are up to our eyeballs in!
Airplane Shelf in the closet is linked here! It is so cute and fits perfectly in the closet for blankets and toys.
So here we are, two weeks out from a new squish! I do have a few more things to add to his room, but I am so happy with how everything has turned out thus far. We are SO excited to meet you Baby Eli!
