Fall House Tour // DIY Project

I love all seasons really, but at the end of summer, I am itching for a break from the Texas heat. Newsflash: there is no break haha…..

Anyways, I have a nice little pile of beautiful fall decor that I am itching to put out by September 1st.

We have little hands so I’m okay with my house looking not so pottery barn-esque for a few more years but we make do. Enjoy!

Our front door is 10 feet tall so the wreath (DIY Wreath) hangs from the middle. It’s a mixture of some simple supplies from hobby lobby and easily under $20.

Vase Fall Greenery are some branches from hobby lobby’s floral section. Mix & Match! The actual vase and the cream floral greenery is old from Ross. I just mix the fall branches in with it. Welcome Mat is from Home Depot.

DIY Monogram Fall Wreath

  • Grapevine Wreath (18″ or 24″)
  • 2 or 3 faux fall branches
  • Roll of burlap ribbon (or whatever you choose for the bow!)
  • Wooden Letter (+ glue/glitter)
  • Small roll of string/yarn to attach letter
  • Hot glue gun

I cut up the branches and hot glued the leaves/pieces of branches onto one side of the wreath. Cut and made a bow from this cute cheveron/burlap ribbon and hot glued it on the other side. Mod podged some gold glitter on the wooden letter and attached to to the wreath. DONE! I think it took less than 15 minutes and it’s held up great. Here it is at our old house…

I lost the bow on the vase and my happy fall sign in our move. It’s somewhere in our attic… I hope. Ha!

Table is from an antique store, Chairs are from Amazon, Pillows/Table Runner from Ross, Cabinet /Old window from antique store, Windmill from Amazon, Wire Pumpkins from Target, and Candle is glade pumpkin spice.

Mini Pumkins from Dollar Tree, Sunflower Centerpiece from Ross (have yet to find the perfect candles!), White Heart Stands were a gift, “gather” wood block from @southerncutedesigns on Etsy.

Mantel / Living Room

Vases/Potpurri/Flowers from Dollar Tree, Pumpkin Spice sign from Hobby Lobby, and Mirror is from Kirklands.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully one day I will have a full home tour but until then. I’m going to stick to raising babies and having a house littered with toys and cheerio crumbs!  Maybe one room at a time…

XO, Jess
