I have officially reach the part of adulthood where I am skeptical about products that claim they’ll make my life easier. I have very high expectations when it comes to cleaning products and appliances!
Hoover was kind enough to gift the Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum to me and let me tell you….I’ve been toting around my other stick vacuum like I was a clean freak…but not so much. I basically feel like the carpet in our house has not been vacuumed since we moved in. THAT’S HOW MUCH STUFF WAS COMING OUT OF THE CARPET with this new vacuum. I vacuum almost daily because #toddlers and #blacklab which is fine, I enjoy it. BUT there is something seriously wrong with the stuff coming out of our carpet. Like dust, dander, things that I am sure my other vacuum was just shoving deeper into the carpet on the daily.
My only two issues with is is learned the different modes and what works best on your flooring. I have tile, carpet, and lots of rugs. The carpet mode was too strong for our rugs so I just had to use the “brush off” mode. It is also not as light as the other vacuum but I don’t mind. It feels in between a cordless and standard vacuum. Not a huge issue for me and is FOR SURE light enough to carry up stairs.
THE BATTERY: probably my favorite part is not having to completly mount your vacuum to charge it like the Dyson. It’s a small removable battery! I was able to vacuum every room in our house except our bedroom (3 bedrooms, living, kitchen, dining, playroom) on HIGH before charging. It charges quickly and lasts long. Nothing better.
THE TANK or “dirt holder”: My other favorite part is the tank. It’s EASILY 3x bigger than the Dyson and I didn’t have to stop every 3 seconds to dump it out. If you have a dog this is crucial!!!! Charlie sleeps in our bedroom so that is easily where there is the most dog hair. With my other vacuum I was stopping about 5 times to do our entire bedroom this time I DID NOT STOP ONCE!
All in all, if you are looking for a smaller vacuum that can handle pet hair, different surfaces and not run out of battery or tank space. The Hoover Evolve Pet vacuum is a W I N N E R!
